We can offer a solution to virtually any engineering problem. Our workshop is well equipped for our experienced and competent staff to complete most work in house.

Crane Testing And Repairs

All truck-mounted cranes require an annual inspection, and all over 5 metric tonne require an inspection certificate.

We offer a certification-grade inspection and repair service carried out by suitably qualified personnel.

This ensures that your truck crane is safe to operate and functions to its correct specifications in line with PECPR regulations and the Health and Safety Act. (See 9.4 of the relevant part of the Act).

Our Inspection Service Includes:

Thorough clean

Multipoint checkup covering all crane functions, load-holding and crane-mounting areas

Check the maximum lifting capacity of the crane as well as any safety systems to limit loads or to indicate overloads

Full load creep or dropping test

Any areas requiring repair or adjustment can be reworked to a satisfactory standard

The reworked areas are then retested and if all is OK the test is complete

A full greasing is done and the crane is ready for work

A copy of the check sheet, full details of any repairs and a hook test certificate are provided.

We also offer crane testing as a stand-alone service if the client wishes to have repairs done elsewhere (eg own workshop).

Crane Fitting

We can also fit and/or remove your crane to/from your truck, and carry out any other other work you may require on the crane or the truck chassis.

Hydraulic Systems: Design, Manufacture, Repairs & Maintenance

We design hydraulic systems to individual specifications, taking into account all factors eg. size, weight, cost, projected use, duty cycles and longevity.
